Welcome to the DELL thread! Though since you have been an SI member since 1996, one might presume you had been here before. <vbg> I find it interesting how many people have written their first SI post on this thread. (Or is it merely your first in a lengthy time?)

I agree that changing the machine might well get that Y2K problem out of the way! I hadn't thought of that, but I am under the impression that there are still companies that are postponing their purchases until they are sure that the Y2K problem is under control. I read that the Dutch Government has stopped all purchases until their Y2K problem is resolved!
