Another reason: it is adequate for the job. Mary Cluney
seems to never saw a modern bloatware - I remember her
sentiments about mice and pop-up menu... For the record,
all MS bloatware does LESS USEFUL JOB even on 1998-loaded
PC, just because all these bells and whistles eat all the
computer power, all communication are blocked by the OO
sloppyware. For a normal order system there is NO NEED
in mouse or pop-up/pull-down menu, new personell may become
familiar with a normally designed system in a matter
of few hours. If you think that the MS Outlook-97 is a
great stable software, you are sadly mistaken.
