Michael, I have an account with Brown & Co. and am well pleased. You can trade over the internet or on a pc line or with a genuine human being if you care to. $25 minimum commission on option orders. $19 for exercise or assignment, but other trades are only $5/10 market/limit.

Michael, since I am dragging in here several days later, don't know if you got the info you needed.. Personally, I still do the Schwab bit and pay the $29 per trade for web trades.. I usually buy enough options that I don't notice the broker cost that much... Having said that, however, how could anyone ever be against saving a few extra bucks.. I am just not up to speed on the alternatives..
Currently I have NO options positions (for the first time in over a year). I intend not to set any new LSI option positions until at least Aug or Sept...so have no current recommendations.
What's the proposal on the new SLC versus Mangy Bears Club? Looks to me like we are getting a "higher low" and aiming at a "higher high" here..so difficult to take tooooo negative an MBC position.. TSO
