Ocote,

Since there has been a bit of decoupling of the Dow and the NASDAQ over the last several months, I don't think volatilility in the NASDAQ is as reliable an indicator as it once was (for now, at least). Right now, my main problem is a lack of access to the internet as my wife, as a well intentioned surprise, decided to have my computer "tweeked" by someone I was not failiar with while I was away at the seminar. The ensuing chaos has caused me no end of consternation. My official computer guy is coming to the rescue in the AM.

Since the main problem with the market is tech stock prewarnings, I would suggest looking for tech stocks that have "ignored" the overall NASDAQ swoon. AINN is still holding its own and the overwhelming majority of internet stocks went great guns today as evidenced by AMZN and lots of others.

Drat!! I hate this posting from a remote location because I don't have my usual technical toolkit available. I'll be back up to speed soon. You can't imagine how it feels from this end and I have made accessability one of my top priorities going forward. Butting heads with bits and bytes has become very tiresome over the last 3 months and I am going to take steps to smooth the road for myself in that regard.
