David, nice find re 'net taxes. On a related note, CNBC's Bob Pasani was saying this morning that most of the buying in many of the hot 'net stocks appears to be retail/small investors rather than institutions, though the latter do appear to be making small bets just to stay in some technology field. He warned that, while their positions may be a small part of their own portfolios, should they exit the small investors will get killed. Hearing cautionary statements a little more lately (except Cramer on Yahoo of course). Internet access could be facing a pricing war too (at least a little guerilla war) with MCI and Gateway cutting rates while MSPG is up to ten times trailing revenue and around $1800 per subscriber. And, as we all know, AOL is raising rates (will they be able to hold the new rate?).

Our day will come, maybe soon.
Bob
