Hi Linda!

Yes, please relieve the boredom around here!!

You stated:

<< But, if you are going to jump on the momentum of the internet stocks that have little to no earnings...BUYER BEWARE! >>

Ahh.. true, but wasn't IOMG the same way way back when? The
stock moved 8x before it posted a penny of earnings. One always
has to be careful. But safe = boring, right? A little hedging
against a very risky position goes a long way!

Also, you said this:

<< When their time comes to fall, I'll not be waking up in the morning
thinking: DOWN 25 points?! >>

Yes, but didn't this just happen to you with IOM? CPQ? See, it doesn't
matter. CPQ has lost 1/3 of it's value in one week. That's like
AMZN losing 30 points.

Stocks fall when they miss expectations. If there's no expectations,
then what? If IOM was trading at 15 before earnings, then posted
.13 vs. expected .01, what would have happened to the stock? It
would be at 45 today.

Linda -

Yes, please!

PS: The rest of that post was pretty good, too. All good stocks have bad times.

PPS: I'm still trying to keep myself away from this thread. Not succeeding too well. See you all on the SI Addicts thread.
