FIRST CALL EARNINGS ESTIMATES

"As much as we ballyhoo the analysts, they have managed to come in pretty close to what IOM actually produced. Now with that said, is IOM fairly valued relative to earnings projections in the near term?"

Have their been some quiet downgrades. It seems to me that it wasn't too long ago that the high estimates were around .60--but I don't recall seeing any recent downgrades.

Has anyone actually tracked the analysts to determine who seems to make the best guess. If not I think this would be a good exercise--if anyone has access to the data. It seems to me that Emerald--though tending to be on the high side--might have the better record--though I'm sure they must have missed last quarter. Does anyone have the current estimates from Emerald?

This is my first post. I have been a shareholder for about two years now, and have been following this thread for a little longer than that. I had almost registered back when it is free--but for some reason didn't do it. I will probably regret doing this after a few inevitable flames.

Speaking of flames, I really disdain the personal attacks. I hate to see Ken leave--as he seems to be responsible in his comments. We do need a bear side. I think Ken--and even Rocky at times--seems to have a better handle on the irrationality of the market--and have probably been correct (in the short term) more often than those of us who like to think we are more "rational" about these things.
