Hi John. I guess you thought I was swimming in the ocean while I was in Ocean City, Md. at the beach? But we did have beautiful weather in the 50s for those days we were there. I guess you heard that even our beaches were under water at times this year? At least we did not get those twisters and quite as much rain as the rest of the country. Have you looked at the pictures on TV from Atlanta, Ga.? Wow. Down here in Maryland, Suburbs of Wash.DC, we had no snow this year. It was also in the 50s today but colder weather is coming. Yes, I heard that winter will go out like a Lion for us. I hope it will wait a cpl of days. I need clear roads for the next cpl of days. gg. Good night Sonny

John, BEACH????? Here in cloudy Pa we ae looking at snow and cold When I was in Alaska, we had a beach party - complete with sand - in mid-December every year. Where there's a will there is a way! ;^) dmg

Good morning John. CPQ and Orcl. Your purchase of CPQ at 24 1/2 the oother day looks pretty good this morning despite the trashing from Cramer of Street com fame. He trashed it again this morning on Squakbox but no takers so far. gg. I can't remember if you have sold your Orcl since we last discussed it. I know Ann still has it. My purchase in the 22 area looks pretty good right now. John. CPQ and Dell. I just heard a little while ago that a shortseller Hedgefund manager has covered its short on CPQ. Interestingly he used the money to shorten Dell. Ouch. Dell was at 66 5/8 at the time, up quite a bit, and is now down. Not that the new short makes that much of a difference. I am sure he is not alone in shortening Dell. I am staying. LU is moving. The upcoming split seems to help this stock. And Intel is up again today. I guess everyone is expecting some more good news from CeBit in Hanover, Germany. That tech.event is coming up shortly. Sonny
