I am quite interested in Hoechst as well, based on that Barron's article. Looks like a Pharmacia and Upjohn-style turnaround to me. Dynamic new executive, shedding costs.

See earlier in these discussions, but HMR means Hoechst Marion Roussel, which was the result of the combining (merger) of the Hoechst human pharma business with that of Marion Merril Dow a couple of years ago.

It is a business unit, and it is not a ticker symbol.
