Thomas:

IPJ is run quite conservatively by Steve Dattels and Bill Burton. We need to remember that Dattels was Barrick's Executive vice-president of corporate finance. This has led me to believe the more conservative thought as you have just stated that IPJ is being guided with caution to ensure that $$$ are there IF AU stays below US$300, IF CU stays at US 80 cents, IF Minoro does not follow through.

There have been two buybacks. The first at higher prices and the second at much lower prices. Likely that Dattels rationalizes that he is in fact selling the shares back into the market in this manner.

I'm OK with this and in fact, this action, if closed removes a concern for the where-with-all in coming years IF the various factors don't close or AU & CU markets don't improve,

This thread is finally getting some action after a lull of over one year. Opinions are appreciated.

Best regards,
Ron E
