Ed,

Re: "Even with the price they sell is 25% lower than INTC, they can
still make money with wafers fabed out. "

But Ed, I have received "double secret" E-mail that indicates AMD's yields
have improved dramatically. Surely you are not suggesting that IBM and TSMC
have lower wafer cost than AMD. You are falling into the trap of assuming
that TSMC and IBM will sell wafers at "cost" to AMD/Cyrix ... this just
isn't so. AMD has reported "significantly larger losses and less revenue"
for this quarter.

Make It So,
Yousef

"Not quite so, even with the price they sell is 25% lower than INTC, they can still make money with wafers fabed out."

Are you implying that Cyrix/AMD can produce chips at a lower cost then INTEL?
