I disagree. I think in view of all the bad news on Monday, CPQ did really well, have a look:

Dell drop -6 at 34 mil. shares
MSFT " -3 " 13 "
IBM " -2 " 6 mil.
Intc " -3 " 27 "

CPQ " -2 72 mil.

(I round up the fig. to the nearest whole no.)

Look at it, Dell dropped $6 at 34 million shares, but with Compaq, even there are twice as much shares, I meant, 72 mil. is a lot of shares, they only drop $2.

With the bad news Mon. morning, everyone suffers. CPQ also make their
own "break-even" earning news compounded that with the "cheap PC annoucment news by S&P?", two sets of bad news and we are still looking at only -$2, I am quite happy.
