g'morning, Wallace & all - I think the mkt cap is 1:10 between BAY and CSCO. However, I don't think one should be quick to dismiss the advantages of the mkt leader. Be it MSFT or CSCO, it always commands a heftier premium. One way BAY can regain some parity is to show continuous sequential eps growth, or at least no decline. While CSCO eps has been fairly flat for the past several Qs on diluted basis, it is not as bad as it looks if it is considered at the presplit lvl.

[note: don't own MSFT or CSCO, and probably never will <sg>]
