Frank, Great catch this morning with the Cisco/Netspeed news.

The news may set the stage for further consolidation of "in house" xDSL technology expertise among the large telcom equipment providers. The remaining, "single", xDSL equipment specialty shops will probably be ranked on the breadth of their solid contracts as much as their technology.

Now, who is next?

Frank, I was sure cisco would throw its hat in the ring for ADSL. I doubt this will be their last such acquisition. Who will be next? The competition is really heating up. Cisco is a pricey stock and though a good long term investment, how much can you buy unless you are already weatlhy. Westell at $12.50 has a good chance at the gold ring even though it may eventually be swallowed up by the likes of a cisco.

Just my take,
Michael
