LT: Regarding last summer's GLM CNBC-induced scare--it didn't even take two days for the rally. By mid-morning the talking heads were admitting their error, as I recall. mph

<OT> LT - Heh, heh, while our horses are racing nose to nose (I think my FLC butt is ahead of your NE), my Ma Ma is happily doing her grocery at Kroger. Chi-ching - she keeps using that U-Scan Express that gladly pays back all her grocery and bills and more. Chi-ching - OPMRF is making her feel like her husband is a Peter Lynch reincarnate.

I don't watch alot of CNBC, but I had it on this morning. GOOD GRIEF! Now I
know why you guys hate Bob Pisani, and why I don't watch uit. That guy is an idiot.

ROFL.....yep...

today he said more than once the dow was hitting new highs over 6000

I think he said it three or four times...

btw, you should send him an email and educate him as to his ignorance in the oil industry...maybe it would help the oil stocks if he started reporting accurately...

LT, I guess it's the Bob Pisanis of this world that create what we believe to be the incredible value play in the oil service sector. From a long-term perspective, the only way this hurts (other than if you need to raise cash), is it becomes more expensive for the companies to fund their expansion (their cost of capital is high) -- its always nicer to issue additional equity when your stock price is high.

Regards, and thanks for your very informative posts.
