RFF,
I really was not suggesting that the previous poster was not "smart", I was just making an observation about the tone of posts on threads and their correlation to tops and bottoms in the underlying stock.

No-one likes to lose money, that is quite normal. There is absolutely no excuse for using language like that, though. He is lucky to keep his posting privilege.

Kevin

RE: CPQ's warning, lets stop a moment and think about something. You get the impression from these panicked idiots that Compuware is locking its doors and selling of the furniture because they just went out of business. So what, they issued break even. What, you pee your pants over that? You think their management just curls up against the wall and cries? No, they go on day to day and build things back up, innovate, slash, squeeze, and so on till they get back into money.( I remember when Silicon Graphics was having some "bad press" in terms of profits, and so forth, many panicked ridden idiots were ready to look at the company's coffin - at the same time, I see them building a large office building in Farmington Hills, Michigan ina new corporate park? THINK LONG TERM PEOPLE, DON'T LOSE YOUR ASS ON DUMPING.
