Bama, Agree, this may just be the right time to consider that oil call index option. The bottom may be very close. Stock down again today, huh! But, on a very light volume. Anyway, being an optimist as I had been, I'd like to believe that those are just few frustrated shareholders who can no longer wait or possibly traders and shorters trying to make an 8th or 1/4 of a point day trading the stock. But even then if somebody has to day trade, a good choice would probably be a stock that trades a million shares a day at a minimum. Large shareholders that I know are still undeterred and in fact look forward to a brighter '98. Well folks hold on to your shares 'cause April 9 is not too far out. 22 trading days if I count it right. Guess we'll know soon if this story has credibility or not. We had gone this far to give up now. Again, just want to reiterate that if GF wants the conversion money, then news must be out soon enough to allow ample time for the warrant holders who want to convert to actively participate in the process without feeling to rush against it. Just happen to think that providing enough lead time before the due date is quite as important as a decent increase in share price if massive and successful conversion is to take place. However, if GF has any doubt that releasing substantive news cannot occur soon for any excuses that they may have, i.e. incomplete data, JV negotiations that have to be given precedent, then by all means he should be up front with the shareholders of possible delays. Announce an extension of warrants right now so that faithful shareholders don't have to sweat that much. Nevertheless, despite what the naysayers or the Hemorrhage, sorry Admoragin of the world had to say, added to that the poor performance of this stock during the last few months, I'm still optimistic about the story, not to mention April 9, but most importantly the next 10-15 days to follow. Barring any word from GF concerning warrant extension, I'll say watch out for the next 2 following Mondays if nothing materialized this week. But then again, it could be announced on a T-W-TH-F and possibly a Sunday, NOT! Finally, Dr. Faris it's time to show us the beef!!!! regards, sycamore
