Slightly off-topic, but in the same ball-park (European drug-makers). Does anyone know anything about Hoechst? This German chemical-pharmaceutical maker is slowing selling off all its chemical businesses to become a pure-play life-sciences company (their drug division is Hoechst Marrion Roussel). They were down about 10 percent late last week on a grim earnings forecast and the four American analysts that follow it each have a "hold" on it, about as bad as it gets. The restructuring is being led by a highly respected executive, a al Fred Hassan at Pharmacia and Upjohn. I like turnarounds like this and might pick some up. The ADS's trade at around 28 and change.
