On some GEO calls I have experienced, there was a real echo. I mean you heard yourself speaking, what, 400 ms later. That problem is impossible for most people to overcome. That real echo can be and was eliminated. The transmission delay of 400 ms might result in some confusion if people try to interactively respond to each other like a question and answer session. But most people can adjust for that condition. My wife talks and listens at the same time, HA.
