Jim P., I'M TUNING YOU OUT. You're obviously to interested in pontificating about risks to realize that my post was loaded with sarcasm

No, Don't do that, I will try to soften my tone. I just get carried away sometimes. Also when that tone gets real strong, those are the question that need to be answered.

In truth, being a bear is very tough. And there is great risk for capital loss. Short 100 shares of something as an educational experience. After one trade, you will understand what I mean.

BTW Have you seen preliminary reviews of Celeron, @ 266, it is about 15% slower than P 233 mmx and 33% slower than K6-233.

Jim

''The bottom line right now is Compaq has nothing to lose,'' said BancAmerica Robertson Stephens analyst Dan Niles. ''All you had to do was listen to their conference call (Friday) to know they've taken aim at Dell.''

...except for maybe a price war.

Don't assume that DELL is totally immune from pricing pressures.
