I think it's important to consider what we have here. We have to keep as a backdrop the nature of advertising in America. Begin by thinking of the Super Bowl, Olympics or whatever. Already, CNBC has been hyping the 1998 World Cup as the beginning of the heyday for internet advertising.

Gosh, there's a lot of money in this industry--I don't know the numbers, but I'm sure they're enormous. Could interactive internet advertising become as big, if not bigger than print or tv advertising? Who knows?

When big bucks are involved, you can be rest assured there's gonna be a nudge here and there. Today's corporations indeed are establishing budgets that will earmark for for internet ads--and this is all new! And everyone is jockeying for position--even Wired maybe. Again, who knows? Perhaps Zulu-tek will even charge them special glum rates.

It comes down to that grand old saying from the 60's from the book, Electric Cool-Aid Acid Test: "You're either on the bus, or off the bus."

I'm on the Zulu bus all the way. As I move on down this road, I guess I'll be enjoying the interactive movie, computer-generated billboards that will be littered along the way.
