I joined this forum recently, and I have decided to express my opinion. It must be apparent to the people who post publicly here that people other then the addressee read the posts, hence any opinion expressed here may elicit a response from anyone who chooses to do so. Since you responded to J.F.Thompson's post, which was not directed specifically to you, I'll choose you to respond to. I'm long CPQ, and expect to be holding the stock for quite some time. My measure of success will be measured by Compaq's success. Apparently your measure of success (at this time) will be measured by Compaq's failure, ie...more bad news, downgrades, etc. That to me, is despicable, regardless of how much money you make. That you jump on the long side every now and then makes you even more despicable, because it clearly points where your loyalty is. I wish you would take your short wishings private, but of course you're free to do what you wish. E.H.F.
