Think of being positive on the Position or trade itself. Not the company. To say that you will not short is IMO like saying you wont bet black on the roulet wheel because red is the color of the bull. Of not betting the Don't pass line at the craps table. The odds are the same, The roller just gives you the evil eye. There is nothing negative about the Don't pass line. Especialy if the roller is cold. Real trade expample, I was short GTW, Made some money on the trade and used it to buy a Gateway. Then I used the computer to do some research and shorted the stock again. :) Now If I were short and refused to buy from gateway, then I would be negative. Maybe that is it, I am a Gateway fan and I am reall angry with DELL for beating them. :) :) <Double Grin> Jim
