I seem to recall people insulting others just because they were frustrated from losing on their short. You got it backwards as to who needs to temper the rhetoric. Just because your losing on a trade gives you the right to insult people who are long and are making money?

I have been long and short YHOO so I could really care less who is long or short or making or losing money. I'm an equal opportunist and I don't get offended by bullish or bearish viewpoints. I don't appreciate hearing how stupid people are for buying AMZN and YHOO and AOL while they are going up 5 points every day.

I'm down 12 points on my AOL short but you don't hear me calling the longs fools, suckers, "less-sophisticated" etc. In fact, you don't even hear me whining about it.

If you can't take the heat of momentum stocks you need to stick to mutual funds or bonds or something.
