LANGHORNE, Pa. (Dow Jones)--RomTech Inc. (ROMT) expects fiscal 1998 revenues between $9 million and $10 million on strong retail demand for its Galaxy Series products.

In a press release Tuesday, the software maker said promotions at Target Stores, Kmart and Best Buy for its Galaxy of Games and Galaxy of Home Office Help products resulted in more than $1 million in revenues. Replenishment orders could generate an equal amount of revenues during promotional periods, the company said.

Electronic Boutique, Media Play, Sam's Club, Computer City, Office Max, Office Depot and Hastings are also promoting the Galaxy Series, with an initial order value for the combined promotions of more than $500,000.

Romtech reported losses of $1.5 million, or 32 cents a share, on $4.5 million in revenues in its fiscal year-ended June 30, 1997.
