It would have been a better story if the dog was named "Justice".

The Tanzanian police are a bit confused I'd say...you don't hang a dog with bullets from a gun. Wonder if they have Police Dogs...if they do, they'd better sleep with one eye open.

At least they are civic minded, I wonder if they got to cast their votes?

Fugitives vote for jail

BOGOTA (Reuters) - About 3,000 wanted criminals were arrested as they lined up to vote in Colombia's congressional elections over the weekend, police say.

Police chief Gen. Rosso Jose Serrano told reporters Monday the criminals were easily caught because they had to hand over their identity cards to polling officials during Sunday's vote.

The majority were wanted for murder, armed robbery, fraud and sex crimes, Serrano said. "We really did an important job for democracy," he said.
