Got my tickets to the California 500 at last!! Two days of constant calling and I finally got through. Now if I could only rustle up a pit pass or two, I'd say hello to TL for you in person <g>.

I'll agree that Jeff Burtons final lap was a highlight special. He wasn't going to let a few sparks and various parts falling off stop him.

Hope to get to Dover some day. Bristol, too. The only tracks fairly close to me are Phoenix, Las Vegas, and the Cal Speedway. They also do run that road race in CA (Sears Point?) but that one's better seen on TV.

Do you know the outcome of the wind tunnel tests? Any changes mandated? The Chevy boys better hope so!

Go Rusty!

Another good job at Darlington considering pitting on the backside.
Looked like car was good as Terry used his smooth style to move up from the 33rd start to as high as 4th before 6th place finish. Second Chevy again.

Pitstops good again. Nice amount of TV exposure.

8 Fords in top ten may continue to put pressure on NASCAR.

Terry is on NASCAR online chat at 3PM EST today.

Five races down.
Team is together to get the job done.
Need to average 6th place finishes from here on in.
159 points back.

Correction to post 8 and clarification to post 6.

Post #6: At Bristol horsepower looked equal.

Post #8: After finally reviewing the whole tape first pitstop was bad (impact wrench problem) however didn't seem like it changed the outcome.
