I guess I'll have to talk to myself for a while.

The market's immediate response to the news is negative, but I'm not sure that is appropriate. The Navy has had a long record of being very, very slow in paying its bills. They expect companies like Mikros to do lots and lots of work on their projects, but they are often a year or more late in making payments. By divesting themselves
of this type of work, they are loosing a previous, major source of revenue. But that work has not been profitable for them anyway, so what are they loosing. That work may have taken time away from commercial development of their technology, also, as government work is very heavy on paper work. They are apparently going to receive enough from the sale to "clean up their balance sheet." Frankly, I think the market is over reacting to this news. Well, quarterly numbers should be out very soon and we'll have a better read on it all, I guess. George E.
