Gee, I still don't believe that if God were good, he would create evil at all. I kinda believe that evil is created when babies and small children are not given enough love and encouragement and acceptance. People who are really damaged--abused, neglected, in pain--are the ones who commit evil acts, and our prisons are an excellent example of that. I don't think it has anything whatsoever to do with God, if he exists. But if he does, I wish he would modernize his parenting course. That "spare the rod and spoil the child" stuff doesn't work so well. Christine
