Hi Bobster, Yes the software does a nice job of screening, but as your have noticed it's sometimes dated by the time one runs it through P&F.

I've only run #1&2's through and was a little disappointed.

I've printed off your long responce and will attempt to filter using your recommendations. I'll send you the list prior to P&Fing.

Did you see this mornings review with Princess Jan.

Ok Bobster, I've read your two cents worth, however the program does not have tax info. Following example of my screening filters and results.

Base of 1700 stocks
Timeliness Rank >3...........358 stocks left
Financial Strength >3.........277 " "
Est % Chg EPS Qt 1 >5.........125 " "
Projected EPS growth >15.......15 " "
Proj 3-5 yr Ave return >10.....12 " "

It spit out AL,AIZ,BR,ELY,CP,FTR,NN,NPCI,ORCL,PRD,TSN,WCLX

Its got a lot of filter groups, "ratings and estimates", "market data","historical measures","growth projections","fiscal year data","identification data",and "user defined ratios ect"

Still learning it but it's fairly friendly, kind of like Jan <<gg>>
