david, i'm with you. that is, i too have posted some classics. mine are, of course, few in number. and i'd have to say, largely undiscovered.

Indeed. Full of wit, even if verbose. <g>

However, succinct rules - take #reply-2250086 for example. My response after being shamelessly attacked from behind by a frothing dog under sweltering moon rays. My feelings are still bruised, not to mention my crushed ego.
