Like said, what good is a one way router? You speculate that CVUS will use it, but the report indicates it could be used with most any medium and HLIT also has a lot of HFC systems that they want to support. Would it not be more interesting to have one way routing for some premium cable services like pay per view video?

Why do you think CVUS would want to provide one way communication to Wall Street?

It also seems that HLIT makes announcements but doesn't actually go into production many quarters in the future. Perhaps they can make one-way routers upgradable to 2 way when they are ready. After all, Cable is still mostly in a one way mode at the momment.

<Remember analysts can only see the future out about 3 months, they are very myopic.>

I remember you saying Soundview was totally myoptic when they downgraded HLIT at 21 around the time of the @Home IPO. I believe they kept a longterm buy rating but a short term hold. Can't really say they were wrong. Still, at $11, I wonder if they've raised their short term view?

Regards,

Mark
