Hi Guys -- Not so nice the way our puppies have been treated.

I still see no signs of decline. Had lunch yesterday with the guy that hires rigs worldwide for a major oil company...he still needs rigs. Other major oil companies are expected to do deals within a couple of weeks for more long term contracts resulting in new construction.

The key is, the deeper the water, the less sensitive programs are to oil prices...the key is discoveries and technology. The coming boom will be in development work in these deepwater areas -- as well as hook-up (CXIPY).

I could care less, he's just annoying. TV people don't move mkts. anyone who doesn't
know enough to be swayed by some idiot talking head shouldn't be in these stocks. I
want all weak hands washed out.

actually CNBC does effect the market

but since you dont watch I dont expect you to know that...

there is very definitely a cause and effect between the two..even if it is only short lived...not every time but it happens

many people trade on it ..whether to catch the quick ride OR to fade the move

for instance....There is a Joe Kernan effect...like it or not..its there.

it does in fact exist.

Btw, do you know how many traders watch CNBC during the day....why do you think it is on the floor of the exchange....
