From a post on the BZ board at Activision....

Did you know that you are playing on the same servers that Dark Reign and Heavy Gear are playing on?
You only see the battlezone games on the servers, so there might only be 8 players that you can see, but
there could be 50-60 others on the server. Load testing is not so important for us since we are not a client
server setup like Quake. The server does the player matching and once you launch the game the server is not
doing much.

2. It's to hard to kill someone in DM.

I have never seen that problem, I get killed more then I do when playing quake. And that is alot!

We have tested the updater quite a bit here with no problems. Some of the problems you saw are related to
the server problems that we has at the end of Feb and should have been fixed by now.

All of the crashes that we know about have been fixed. What do you mean that you have to reboot? The Beta
testers were never able to test the final version do to the size that a patch would have had to be, so it is likely
that this was fixed at the end, but I would be happy to try it out on my machine for you.

I politely disagree.

Battlezone has NOT been hyped.

Analysts probably don't even know the potential of this game.

ATVI's chart looks horrible but I think it reflects
1) Insider selling that took place around $16 shortly after earnings.
2) Short selling that took place after the finance agreement for the $60 million was set (Vic had suggested this one and from what I have read since, this actually happens a lot).
3) Lack of knowledge of upcoming ATVI games.

Battlezone looks like it will be yet another franchise for Activision.
I think people will begin to see this when the game becomes available in stores. The 20 MG demo was a turnoff to several friends until I guaranteed them it would be good...they were not disappointed.

No one knows about this game yet. The stock has been showing some signs of life as of late and the money flow into this stock has been good.

Maybe BZ will jumpstart ATVI and we'll finally catch up to those other guys :)
