My guess is that, if ORCL misses earnings, analysts will drop their ratings to "sell." Of course I usually don't go out on a limb like this....

Buy and hold. There's an entire city in Nevada devoted to gambling, if that's what you're in to.

Dr. Arvind,

Very few analysts use 'sell' word for a lot of different reasons. To most, 'hold' equals sell. I think after Thursday, you will see 4-5 analysts move ORCL up the line very quickly. More importantly, with the end of Q1 2-3 weeks away, there will be a lot of ORCL buys for portfolio rounding with a good earnings announcement.
