Amazon is a very convenient low maintenance short. The short position automatically gets bigger and thus keeps pace with my total portfolio. I don't even need to sell more to keep roughly the same percentage ratio between short and long positions. ;-)

As long as my portfolio outperforms the S&P500 and the Nasdaq Composite index I won't complain too much about the paper losses in my Amazon short position.

Candle Stick's posts are designed to pass along his views of fundamental and technical factors that he feels others of us may want to consider. Were you frightened by them? Can you name anyone else who was?

What constructive comments have you ever made on this thread anyway? That you see some pennant formation? Even that read more like an attack on candle stick charting techniques than a genuine opinion. Don't confuse luck for brains.

Why is it that expressing a negative view of a stock is an "attempt to frighten"? Is a positive comment merely manipulative hype? You started this by accusing him of this great evil of "frightening". You can stop it too.

As far as your last jab, that I am "ignorant of the message the market is telling" me, I understand the market's message very clearly. That is that ignorance like yours is rampant and that in conditions like these, getting short (or simply out) early is a much safer and more rewarding position than doing so late. I have plenty of shirts and your nightmare will start soon enough.
