Henry, thanks for the explanation. When I see the word "hits" it usually means each literal request for a "document" (be it an html file, a gif, a jpeg, whatever). And since if an html page contains embedded images, each of those images becomes a separate request to the web server of the page. Hence, your page has three "hits" to your server. Chalk it up to a difference of meaning for the word "hits"...
