Joe Kernen went off and got married, won't be back for a few weeks, must be doing that honeymoon thang. Yes Acampora has waffled. The S&P is currently trading at 22 times earnings(multiple) for all of 1998, the highest PE ever for the index, First Call has revised this Q's earnings from 10 to 4 to 3% since January 1st., can't understand what would push the Dow to 10,000 by years end, valuations would be astronomical, and IF Asian crisis calms down in second half with economy growing, speculation of Fed tightening could hold down the averages.
