I'm trying to figure out the announcement. The wording seems to say that it was THQ's decision not to extend the agreement, not that the WCW decided to sign an agreement with some other company. Does anyone know what the whole story is on this.

Just my two cents, but I interpreted Farrell's comments as meaning that THQ was going to continue making wrestling games, just without the WCW trademark (basically using made-up characters).
