You really should ask for advice from someone who's smart and who usually makes money, such as our host on this thread, Roger Babb, as opposed to me. In theory, the idea is that people should be able to choose individual issues which will perform better than the overall market or an index.

I thought the street really like the CEO of KO, that is why the
stock is going through the roof. I guess you beg to differ ...


The street really liked the old CEO, who'd been around for 25 years or so, and who died of lung cancer a few months ago. I don't know what they think about the new CEO, and don't even know who he is. This isn't a matter of a popularity contest with me; I simply think that the stock is historically overvalued, and it already dropped from 72 to 52 last year because some analysts noted that.
