Greg- Thanks for posting this update of the current state of things at dsc. It was quite clear that DSC has a WDM product that is similar to that provided by Ciena and Lucent. I guess this must be from the Denmark facility: DSC also offers an optical SDH transmission system, DSC FOCUS AC4, especially developed for the trunk network layer. The basic system can be configured as add/drop multiplexers, terminal multiplexers, cross-connects and regenerators. DSC FOCUS AC4 offers a wide range of optical interfaces and full VC-4 connectivity between all ports. The system furthermore integrates a full optical layer upgrade path supporting 4 to 16 channel WDM, optical add/drop and world-leading optical amplifier technology. WDM systems supplied by DSC to Telenor in Norway are today carrying traffic between Oslo and Bergen and several other systems are in live operation with leading operators. Also, anybody know of DSC sells equipment which allows voice over IP? It seems a number of companies are growing rapidly in this area. See article below: Message 3664086
