Jenna A lot of stocks that you & LS have talked about here recently are now breaking out!!! Somebody(not me) i'm way too old<g>, should do a follow up on these stocks... The patterns are simple...They usually run up on the earnings, and if they're good, they sell off, hit support for a few days, consolidate some, and rocket higher... By using Dorsey's sector Bullish Percent charts, i get an overview of what sectors are overbought or oversold...and those stocks that are solid earners in the trending sectors run hard after eps are announced, albeit, 3-5-8 days later... On P&F charting, they would look like a 3 box( a 3 point) reversal after a strong run up...The chart would have a forward & upward look to it, with the stock making higher highs and higher lows... Sort of like the back of a Dinosour or A set of Stairs...each pull bck along the way as the stock moves higher gives this stock momentum and force...Look at RXSD or ICN.... Anyway you all have watch lists, but what about a list of those excellant earnings plays after they announce, say "the pull back and run stocks list"" oh heck somebody come up with a good name<g>... Of course with you and everyone looking at a thousand stocks each day, this might be a cumbersome:>}...BUT i think it would be Very Very profitable...I've been watching GDT & SDK & LHSPF & AVEI( look at this stock after eps & a stock split...Blue Sky Breakout going much higher IMO...How about CBTSY??? he he he....WOW!!!
