Paul,

Not an oversight! You probably were just leaving a small bone so we could have fun, too!

It seems that every time DELL hits a new high, the momentum players and bears move in... The only thing more certain than seeing a bunch of them is the knowledge that most of them will be totally ignorant of the company's fundamentals, and only marginally knowledgeable of the company's market model. I find the most amazing part to be the fact that so many shorts apparently have no concept of accounting, economics, or how earnings are recognized.

And it is interesting, too. Some of the shorts, such as Flamethrower, have been willing to learn and have made a goodly amount of money going long. Some, like Candlestick, leave a lot poorer.

Even steve(hpeace) has made a LOT more money on his 7,000 DELL shares bought in early January (?) than he has on the hundreds of thousands of shares of CPQ he has held since last summer. <g>

Regards, and thanks for sharing your expertise with the thread.

DELLish, 3. (PS. Interesting note: the SI spellchecker considers 'DELLish' a good word, doesn't even highlight it.)
