Ernest Borgnine Presents 'Ford Contour' to B.A.T.

BURBANK, CA. - B.A.T. International (BAAT: OTC) received a brand new 1998
Ford Contour today. It was presented to Joseph P. LaStella President of
B.A.T. by Ernest Borgnine, the Academy Award Winning Actor and T.V.
star(McHales' Navy). B.A.T. wishes to thank Mr. Borgnine for his support.
The purchase was arranged through Barrie "The Bear" Eget and Steven Tampus
at Galpin Ford. Galpin is Ford Motor Company's #1 volume dealer in the
U.S.A. @ (818)787-3800. The engine will be modified with the Dolphin Pulse
Charged Technology. B.A.T believes it will be able to achieve fuel
efficiency improvements of 30 to 40%, and a significant reduction in
emissions. The Ford Contour was chosen because of its ZETEC 4-cylinder
gasoline engine. The ZETEC is considered very advanced in terms of fuel
economy technology.

Delivery of the Ford Contour to the University of California, Riverside
College of Engineering, Center for Environmental Research and Technology
will occur on March 11, 1998. Full dynamometer testing will establish base
line data on the engine and vehicle. When engine modifications are
completed, the vehicle will then be retested at the same facility.

B.A.T.'s Geo Metro, with a Dolphin Pulse Charged diesel engine, was
field-tested at California Speedway in Fontana, in January and February.
The Metro achieved 92.5 and 93.7 miles per gallon at 40 mph in certified
tests (see press release 2/11/98). The engine is now undergoing
modification to further improve efficiency and performance. It will also
be tested on a dynamometer at University of California, Riverside.

The modification of two engines, one gasoline and one diesel, will
demonstrate the versatility of Dolphin Pulse Charge Technology in vehicle
applications. When engine modifications and testing are completed, we look
forward to reviewing results with interested parties.

B.A.T. International's web site baat.com is currently being
modified.

Thank you,
Al Tillis - Webmaster at baat.com
