I agree completely with your comments. I also sent a message to DELL investor relations regarding the call. It was the impression it gave during open market hours, with no way for the average gal to check. Further, idiot reporters post headlines like "DELL on Bear Stearns conference call while stock drops" (that's a paraphrase), that makes it sound like something it's not and, again, can't be verified. Just because DELL is on the call, and the market and DELL are down, doesn't necessarily mean the two are connected, which is the impression that the Reuters (think it was) headline gave.

I listened to the entire conference call last night (THANK YOU! to the gent who posted the number) and was very impressed. That doesn't erase the concerns that Paul (thank you for bringing this up in the first place) and others have made.
