It was a busy show in general but the level of interest and activity in GCTI's booth was noticeably higher than other competitive vendor booths. I guess this is a small, maybe insignificant point in the scheme of things but I have found this "buzz factor" at other trade shows to be a good measure of product interest and mindshare.

I'm with AnswerSoft and we were at CT Expo. Genesys has some good solutions but the reason they had so many visitors has much to do with their distribution plan. "Sell to developers and integrators" Their were alot of small developers and integrators wanting to work with Genesys. These aren't end users of the product. You won't see many PBX vendors hanging around their booth. Genesys is their Nemisis.. Take a look at their 10K and pay special notice to the company's statement that they have to have a sucessful relationship with the PBX suppliers in order to succeed. That will never happen.
