I couldn't agree more NW. I have a question maybe you could answer about the DEC acquisition:

1. When are the DEC shareholders allowed to vote on this deal? Does this deal have to see federal approval prior to the vote or can the vote take place during the review.

IMHO, the sooner this deal is done and EP can announce his plans for the new company, the sooner we will see upward momentum return. My guess between May to July.

Thanks,
Nick

He must have gotten his contract on the 5th of March?
Pity. As recently as 3/4/98, two days before the warning, he claimed that CPQ would make their April earnings. How convenient for him. I have been dying to hear how he would backpedal his assertions about CPQ.

My guess is that if and when CPQ pulls out of this and heads up, later in the year, he'll find some loophole in his contract that'll let him join the party. And somehow claim he precisely predicted the rise to boot<g>.
