Doesn't it say a lot for THQI though that the big dogs are after their bones now instead of the other way around? I consider it flattering that the competition considers the success of THQI as something to look up to. Now, not to get cocky but just keep doing what got them here in the first place. Farrell has been an excellent captain so far and I have no reason to doubt him now. What we need to do is just keep on keeping on.

One good quarter (including the long-awaited PAX and the WCW debut) does not a high-flier make.

I suspect THQ will have a flat to down year in 1998, earnings-wise, and will finish '98 in the low teens.

For some reason, you's guys (wrastling lingo) mistook one good quarter as a trend, and assigned a commensurate multiple to the stock! tisk tisk. Nobody's lost as much as I have on THQI, but I'm about to have a lot of company. Welcome back to earth.

If it is really ERTS, look for the rug to be pulled out from under THQI on other ERTS titles. ERTS had
previously said that their working relationship with THQI had been excellent and that THQI ports to N64
saved them a lot of internal devlopment costs. However, ERTS has made it very clear that they plan on going
after N64 in a big way this year, so don't expect ERTS to give THQI any big moneymakers. Unfortunately
success breeds jealousy.

Well, there you have it. Don't turn your back on a juggernaut like ERTS!
