Stockster,

Welcome to the DELL thread!

Looks like you are taking advantage of the one month free offer. Hope you stick around after that.

Well done Ryan.

Ryan:

Thanks for posting this email you got from Frank Milano of Dell's Investor Relations department.Great job.

What I gather from it :

1.The loss of upward momentum for DELL's stock due to the 'proximity
effect' due to CPQ's 'pre-announcement',and now today HP etc as the
'street' has a a tendency 'to throw the baby with bath water',DELL
being in the same industry and all. This phenomenon seems temporary
and soon investors will realize this fact and the stock to move
accordinlgy.

2.Very clear message from the company about Q1 99 and that is expect
healthy single digit sequential growth as demonstrated by DELL in
the past. Also note historically Q3 has been the best quarter for
sequential growth for DELL.

Very upbeat and reassuring,if you ask me. I don't know what other people interpret this, but this is my take on it. Sure would nice others would post their opinion as well.

Once again great job and thanks a million.
