Al, I pay $5 a month per phone for direct connect and get 50 minutes per phone free. Additional minutes are at 12 cents. As someone mentioned in a recent post, when using DC you cut to the chase. There's little chit chat just "Here's what I need" and "Ok, here's your answer." Then it's adios. Actually my wife and I each spend considerable amounts of time traveling to and fro in pursuit of our various interests (hers, business; mine, monkey and other types of business) so the DC is a great device for us. My i600 has an electrical shock attachment that zaps me whenever it gets near a bathroom so I leave it in my office. :-) Here's a hint for your arithmatick work: 2+2=5 or maybe it's 5 3/16.
